Fly no longer supported on any iPad Minis!

I too have a Mini 6 which I cannot fault. I also have a Tripltek Pro 7”. The first one had a fault on arrival but the replacement however has been without technical issues and is satisfactory. I do not have any problem that the first Tripltek arrived with an issue, it happens with any item from...

Tripltek 7 Pro 8GB Ultra Bright Tablet

You have to wonder what version of Android it runs and if you can cross flash the image as Tripltek seemed to lose any interest in support updates for the 7” as soon as the 8” hit the mwrket.

Fly no longer supported on any iPad Minis!

Lumafusion is awesome. I do my final video editing at home using Premier Pro but having Lumafusion means I can quickly knock something out when I’m out on the job site to leave with the customer in the interim. I can see many people being able to meet all their editing needs with it and you’re...

Fly no longer supported on any iPad Minis!

For sure! It’s so much easier only needing the one cable for both the Mini and the Tripltek as well.

Fly no longer supported on any iPad Minis!

The Mini 4 was the current model for 4 years, longer than any other Apple mobile device. So long in fact that most pundits had been saying that the Mini line was discontinued. The A8 processor was the one found in the iPhone 6 and I don’t think many of us expect the Fly app to run on an iPhone 6...

    Virtual Litchi Mission

Just for context, I’ve been asked for 80% overlap when doing mountain slope survey. I can’t tell you the exact reason as I didn’t process those images only collected them but what the customer asks for the customer gets of course. Regards Ari

3 Eagle attack on FPV had it been any other dji drone it would have been history

He did not approach the eagle, the eagle approached him. This is unavoidable and allowed as it is with marine mammals under Australian wildlife laws. Don’t do a quick google, try a deep dive into the regulations which as a commercial operator who operates in National Parks and Marine parks I...

3 Eagle attack on FPV had it been any other dji drone it would have been history

Many people disagree with things and I understand that but where that is based on text book or anecdotal knowledge it often leads to a mis gotten conclusion. The eagles would have seen that drone from literally *miles* away, long before John was aware of their presence and once they did see it...

3 Eagle attack on FPV had it been any other dji drone it would have been history

Put down the tar and feathers and step away from your pre conceived notions folks. The pilot institute and pretty well anyone who has never been outside of North America has no conception of dealing with a wedge-tail. They are unlike any other bird of prey. Although not considered to be the...

    Virtual Litchi Mission

I have done grid missions in mountain areas where I have run out of waypoints due to the quickly varying terrain height and the need to place waypoints at distances of 5m. Realistically “thousands” would never be needed but 250 would be handy. Regards Ari

    Hi from North Queensland.

Welcome to the forums Dave. You don’t always have to have the latest and greatest and I’m sure you’ll surprise yourself and others with the Mini. Next step is video editing and a Youtube channel 😝

    Amazon drone delivery

Yeah, I did sort of think that a good tug in the end of the line wasn’t going to end well 😝

    Hello from Brisbane, Australia!

It’s mentioned specifically iin the RePl training, most other places just say “around 30 minutes” which would be correct at the equator. A plastic stool or similar 4 ft high will save the day. funnily, I saw a thread where someone else got one bad battery in the flymore

    Amazon drone delivery

That would be what it changed to would be my guess. I had a couple of deliveries when they first started trials to see how it worked (as you do right? lol) and you unclipped your own. As I mentioned earlier they introduced a second generation aircraft due to noise complaints. I’d guess that was...

    Hello from Brisbane, Australia!

If it says you don’t need to register on CASA’s own webpage then I honestly wouldn’t be registering it yet. Good to hear, it’s always nice to axtually get to use it. You’re allowed to fly from civil dawn to civil twilight which begins and ends when the sun is 6deg below the horizon. That varies...
