That sounds like a very convenient response, considering they got their hands caught in the cookie jar trying to rip off people during the holidays. We'll see if they're legit if I am one of the ones to receive a "priority link/discount code".
So after promises from E-Zee that I would not lose my spot in the queue after they made me cancel my Mavic Fly More combo, they now have 7 in stock at for a staggering $2300 on Amazon... Good thing I hedged my bets when they cancelled my order, and placed a separate order with DJI Official. Got...
After my "cancellation" from E ZEE, I placed a second order on Amazon (DJI Official) for a Fly More Combo on 11/2.
Today I got the shipping notification, credit card charge, and FedEx tracking number. Should be here Monday!!
I did the same thing, I've placed another order through DJI Official (via Amazon), and if by some chance Ezee contacts me before then, I'll cancel the DJI Official order which is slated for delivery between Dec 8-27.
Hard to believe that BOTH DJI and GoPro screwed up their launches. I consider myself a patient person, but 2 more months is hard to swallow... That being said, DJI will still (eventually) make money off of me.
We probably won't hear anything from this seller for another four or five weeks. I'm still shopping around various DJI authorized retailers, but nobody has a faster (sooner) estimated shipping date yet. All I can do is live vicariously through YouTube footage and unboxings. Sigh...
Well, here's how I see it. What's done is done, and I think I've learned my lesson when it comes to ordering a newly released DJI product. For now I'm going to "keep" my order with Ezee, because ordering from any other source right now won't get the Mavic to my doorstep any faster. If I can...
We can only hope for the best I guess. I don't intend on cancelling my order with Ezee, considering that placing an order with anybody else right now will only yield the same estimated shipping time. Who knows, it might arrive just in time for Christmas.
I got the same cancellation email, but Ezee also sent me this:
"Hey, DJI hasnt shipped out a single unit and currently the estimated delivery date to dealers is beginning of December so we are unable to deliver the product but you are guaranteed the first batch once dji ships it to us, we...
I ordered the Fly More Combo on October 9th from EZee Electronics (Via Amazon Prime). Estimated date on Amazon says Nov. 2nd, but no shipping confirmation as of today.
Sent two emails to Ezee Electronics, they replied back with one sentence: "Hey, no updates yet from DJI, they are keeping us...
I purchased the Fly More bundle which includes its own bag, but I also own a Lowepro Slingshot Edge 250AW for my Panasonic G7, and definitely have room for both the Mavic and all its accessories as well.
The Mavic will be my first drone, and I fully intend to register it with the FAA. Once I receive the registration number, where do I affix it on the Mavic itself? Do I put it on the rear like a license plate? Inside the battery compartment? Under one of the arms?
