I am also from Newcastle. I Live in Macquarie hills. There are lots of places to fly if you head out of the city a bit. Don’t go north as the RAAF base pretty much has that all locked down.

I have an Alienware laptop with an Nvidia 970M video card and 16Gb ram. Handles all my video editing just fine. It was close to $3500 tho. So I guess it’s in a different league.

Yup that's me leaning on the rear of the car directly below. I was in a flight zone where I could go to a maximum altitude of 45m as there was a helicopter site not too far away. So yeah I had to reduce the default height. Just sticking to the rules. Do the right thing. Still turned out ok I say.

Use the other port on the controller. That will stop the charging issue I believe.
