So far, the only NFZ I have encountered is the airport. It kinda sucks because Tumon bay is where I really want to fly/film.

Im a Mavic owner/pilot living on Guam, looking for others in my vicinity.

I'm trying to fly at a beach close to an airport. I called the tower and was given permission. How do I get the Mavic to fly in a NFZ? It won't let me take off??

Could you also give your thoughts on FAA registration? Im reading a lot about how its required or no longer required and im not sure what to make of it. What are the pros and cons of registering a UAV with the FAA?

Thanks for the info Santa! In that case, i will definitely begin the process of getting certified. I got the Mavic to fly as a hobbyist. But with all the money i been spending on it, i might as well try to make some back.

What is the significance of an FAA cert? Do i need one if i plan to hire out my drone services? Do i need one if i just fly as a hobby? Im a drone newbie from Guam.
