I understand the mount works with multiple Mavic models...just that this is the Mavic Air forum and I see a lot of posts pertaining to other Mavic models in this area which is very frustrating. It’s probably best I just move along...bye.

There is no controller screen on the Mavic Air. And all the controls can be operated by feel. This looks to be much better balanced, similar to the MavMount.

I'm about 20-30 minutes South of you in Port Orange area. Also, I work in DeLand and was flying frequently in Lake Helen after work (although, not now that the time changed). I've had a Mavic Air and a Spark for a few months now.

If you were trying to circle the flag pole, why not use POI (Point of Interest) mode instead? It only requires picking the center point (by flying directly over the flag pole) once, then back away, adjust your altitude, then engage...will allow you to adjust altitude, yaw, distance and gimbal...

Batteries are only 6 month warranty, best contact them ASAP and just explain what you told us. Good luck!

If you think about it, you can take these quads anywhere in the world to fly them...so they should all be created equally, with the exception of charging the batteries, which requires a localized adapter due to varying power standards.

Manual Focus? The Mavic Air is a fixed focus lens. Was this shot with another drone? If so, please share that info.

I'm not seeing NFZ around schools...what version of AirMap are you running and what OS? I'm seeing AirMap v2.3.1 on my iPad and all my apps are currently up to date. Example image of a school about 30 minutes from my house which is NOT near an airport or heliport...notice, its Green in AirMap...

Unfortunately, if the drone is "lost" (sunk in the ocean and the owner couldn't retrieve it) then DJI Care Refresh doesn't help...you must recover the damaged drone and return it to DJI. Some great looking footage...sorry for you loss.

That blink pattern isn't listed in the manual. Red Green Yellow is the self test at startup...Red Yellow is a compass calibration.

Been using it for a few months. I agree, the learning curve is a bit steep, but I had very little video editing knowledge to begin with, I come from a photo-edit background. However, I am learning...thanks to some YouTube videos. Seems to be very powerful...and best part, it's FREE.
