yo all tried that - does NOT work - unless there is a setting on the smart controller I am missing running Go4 on the ipad "go nowhere" - can not connect If anyone has found a workaround - pls post - that would be great Thanks much

OK I get that - so why is the GO 4 app available thru Apples app store - it "runs" on my ipad but can't connect to the drone ! Doesn't make sense to me

Agreed The screen on the Smart Controller is still not large enough for proper composition - an ipad would be MUCH better. In the context of the Mavic 2 and the Smart Controller what is the ios app "dji Go 4" used for ??
