First flight out with a new gimbal and cable after more than 2 years. Took her out to 1800 feet down range and 100 foot AGL. Just like the day it was new. Didn't record just snapped a pic over a construction site.

I think I'm on .0400, getting prompted for .0500 update. Aside from a compass calibration I think I'm good to go. I'm going to verify my firmware after work. Let us know if the SD card method worked.

I have seen were guys have pulled the case of the drone off and removed the internal SD card wiped it and re installed a firmware. Not the SD card on the side for storing videos but there is one inside the airframe.

Did you get anywhere with the update? I'm about to fire mine up for the first time in almost 2 years. I'm sure I've got hours of updates ahead of me. Hopefully trouble free.

Your RTH settings are stored on board the drone in a second SD card located on the controller board. Those settings are set via the app interface but resident to the drone. You have full control of the drone (except for the video functions) with just the remote. Including the RTH function.
