I sent mine in for a Refresh claim on 07/03. Due to the holiday they (California) didn't receive it until 07/06. I got it back on 07/25 which wasn't fair seeing how they were going to replace, rather than fix it, anyway. Sadly, I received a defective unit and am awaiting another replacement...

Yup, that's what they did in my case. In fact mine was manufactured in December (if you believe the Serial Decoder site). Plus it took 3 weeks to get to me; with an insurance policy I would've had the check 2 days later.

The cost to have them repair your drone is sort of like your auto policy's deductible, except they don't call it that.
