An update to my case, in case it might be helpful to anyone. After contacting dji support, they suggested to send the unit back to them for inspection. Before doing so, I thought to try one more time to self-calibrate the sensors. DJI support... -
i downgraded the firmware and the glitch disappeared.

iceman77 replied to the thread New Firmware.Yes, use DJI Assistant 2 (you can get it here), install it, then just connect the drone via USB-C cable to your computer, launch the app, it should recognize the drone and offer you FW update/downgrade. I used it to get my drone back to .0200
