In the 7 months of flying......I have had only one negative person experience (who was very much in our faces) and dozens of positive ones. Most people are curious and love to see them in action or learn more.
As has been already mentioned a few of the posts.....I would recommend using one of the gimbal covers that is a) has the cut out for the camera (min interference in the shot) and b) is dark in colour to minimize the side glare.
There are several versions available on line and are inexpensive...
I managed 4km out before chickening out.....as I could notice the headwind on the return. Almost no where to land except water :(
But returned (in sport mode) with still 23% battery
As much as Canada looks like a great place to fly.....the current interim rules from Transport Canada make it pretty much illegal the momement you take your drone out of the house.....
For that price tag, I think I would like to try them first. I liked the Mavic because of its compact size for travel. The size of the goggles kind of defeats that.
Also....I am sure using them with the drone in Canada would break even more rules than I do today (lol)
I have 3 ....which gives me a solid 60 min of flight time.
Everything fits into the Mavic carry bag and I bought the charger that can charge 3 batters, plus the charger, plus my iPad all at once.
