Shot this yesterday during an early morning paddle.

I used a passport number. It worked. It appears to just be a log in user name anyway. Once you get in then there will be a link to actually register the drone.

I'll try to remember to post some pictures of it once I have it installed.

One reason I can think of to fly in an area without internet would be out of country. I shot video in the Italian Alps last year (live in the USA) and did not have any access via my phone. In fact, it was in airplane mode. I intend to do the same in Costa Rica next month
