Just phoned Maplins on 0333 400 9500 and was told they were hoping to get some in by xmas or if not before 28/01/17 so i ordered the fly more. Allegedly they have completed their preorders.- Julian Davies

Has anyone ordered their Mavic from ProAV
Just wondered if anyone else has ordered from ProAV? I have ordered a Fly more combo and wanted to know if anyone has had theirs yet? They told me they were expecting to receive 25 units and i was 21st on the list.. I only ordered it on Monday so I'm not holding my breath..Just excited...- Julian Davies

Flying with the Gimbal Guard on?
that did not take long to read. @The Editor i don't call 4 posts thrashed to death. Back to my original post. If your not advised to fly with the guard on why does the DJI Video show them doing it. A bit confusing..- Julian Davies

Flying with the Gimbal Guard on?
I notice on the Official DJI Mavic "Flying for fun" video, that the 2 young lads put the DJI Goggles on and then fly their Mavic's with the gimbal guards on. From what i have seen and read you should not do this as it blocks the vents behind the camera. Anyone have any views on this?- Julian Davies

I spoke to the Heliguy today trying to find out how long it would be before i got mine if i ordered today. Decided to go with PROAV in the end as they are still waiting for their initial pre order to arrive. They ordered 25 units and i am number 21 on the list, so they say.
