Yes, it folds to completely flat. - S

It's approximately 7 1/4 inches wide x 5.5 inches high. I only used it once and it worked well but it wasn't very sunny so not 100% it made a huge difference. I'll report back the next time I use it in sunny conditions. As others have said, it is well made and fix snuggly over the antennas.

Funny I just received the hood myself and it is very well made. I also thought it was odd that it mounted on the antennas. It's pouring rain here but if it dries up this weekend I'll be sure to try it out and report back my findings.

I save all of my video via the SD card to the computer. I use the cache just to be able to quickly view footage and you have the option to save to your camera roll.
