Hey everyone, have next week off and would like to do some short 2 or 3 day trips. Anywhere near Red Deer, AB that would have some good mountain areas to legally fly in? Preferably dog (on leash) friendly? Prefer no more than say a 5-6hour drive.

More details would be nice. "Near flight path" is pretty vague and is very subjective. Get the nervous type and 10km might be to "near"...

Red Deer RCMP say seized drone was near flight path of air ambulance Can't say he didn't deserve to get his Mavic seized if he truly was in violation, but this type of stuff just makes it harder on the rest of us.

Looks like they are shipping pretty fast now, my neighbor ordered one on March 23 and received on the 27th.

I have the Tomlov Professional hard case, fits the Mavic, 2 extra batteries, controller, charger, extra props, a usb wall plug and my ipad mini fits face down (with smart cover) on top of the Mavic. There is extra room between the Mavic and the top of the case so there is no excessive pressure...

Anyone from Canada looking at these be warned. Very expensive shipping and takes a long time to receive. I ordered on Mar 12 and expected delivery date is Apr 4.
