Has anyone done any flying along the Cliff Walk in Newport?
I'm heading to Newport in December and would like to get some flying in along the Cliff Walk coast area. Anyone know of a good place to launch from? Bailey's Beach area perhaps or similar area? I'd love to hear from others, local...

I'm always looking for others to meet up with. I'm up in North Wilmington but currently at the Delcastle recreation park deciding whether or not to fly here.
Thanks for mentioning that. I have a tendency to go out and explore the area I'm flying in all while taking full advantage of my tx range limits. The park is a great place to fly in but I did start to feel a bit restricted within it's borders. Maybe we can meet up.

Im familiar with where church farm school is located but have not been up in that area for quite some time. Where in Exton Park are people flying? More specifically, which side of 30 is the Park where everyone is flying? Landmark's to look for? I would like to head up there when this...
I'm pretty much the same. I find it all to be very relaxing and enjoyable. I really just shoot photos/videos for personal use. Wish I had more time to dig deeper into doing some higher end post/editing etc. I keep almost everything I shoot, backed up but really don't get the time needed...
In the 4+ years I have been flying, I have only had 1 minor incident with two woman yelling at me trying to tell me I was in the wrong and breaking the law for spying on people. This occurred at a Delaware beach all while I was nowhere around people capturing the sunset. I smiled and asked them...

How have you been making out with your Mavic? I fly up in Spring Lake on the beach almost every morning during the week. If you would like to meet up let me know. Maybe I can help you out a bit. I've been flying since the Phantom 1 days in 2013 and have never had a fly away or crash.
This is Very Encouraging news so far. I still do not have my Mavic but I'm relieved to be reading this thread so far.
On a side note, I just stopped in my local Best Buy to see what was currently on their display and happened to notice that the Mavic in which they Had on display a few weeks...
