If you want to fly over a mountain simply unlock the drone and you can do so provided it is NOT a no-fly zone... Please post pics always cool to look at epic pics.

If you are a 107 pilot, when you register your Mavic with DJI, you set up an account, it requires you to verify your identity even asking for a credit card. once logged in go to FLY SAFE tab and there you can unlock any area including altitude limitation unless it is Classified, Restricted, NO...

That is some serious distance, hopefully way out away from any person or property, ( FAA Line of sight issue there) That is an expensive test if you lose the bird. The only way I would attempt that is out in the desert with MILES of straight road and I would have someone to follow as they drove...

I had it happen with other birds, not sure if they were falcons, you can see one of them at the end of this video, also had it on another flight in Arizona, much larger bird, both was after the drone for sure.. you do not want a bird strick that would suck, for the drone and the bird
