Looking for a drone to use around the farm to record some farming activities. Nothing fancy… Just want the drone to follow me around, maybe circling as it does, walking, running a tractor, etc. Any particular DJI drone you would recommend? What mode would I use? Active track or POI? Thanks!

My feeling is that if you want to give drones a bad reputation, poke the land owner in the eye flying your drone over their property without asking permission first. Ask first if they say no - politely move one. I would not want someone flying over our property taking videos and pics. Enough...

With the changes to part 107, night flight, etc., if you recently got your part 107, how does the FAA handle and older certificates, that are yet still valid, prior to night flying, etc. changes that are coming (as I read) later this month? Do you have to retake your 107 or is there some sort...

So this is a wild speculation on my part and I'm curious. Is it possible that the end goal of remote ID is to give the FAA a means to ground drones in mass when a situation requires? For example, if one were to fly into a no fly zone as referenced in this post, the drone is either not allowed...

Anyone using an iPad mini with their Mavic Mini controller vs an iPhone (or android) ? If so, is the bigger screen easier to use/read? Does the additional size of the iPad make the controller to bulky to use comfortably? Just curious. Thanks!
