If you want to try swimming a drone, I saw an ad last night for a waterproof drone and camera that was around $100 with a 4K camera. The video started out with the drone submerged upside down and then it flipped itself upright and took off. Interesting video but I know nothing about this...
I am looking for recommendations on a decent foldable hood that will work with either a Phantom 3 or Phantom 4 controller. Let me know what has worked for you with either of these controllers.

If you have an existing FAA Pilot's license, is there any difference in the requirements to get the commercial drone license when compared to a new pilot getting a 107 certification?

It is possible to get a "no Drone" rule rescinded. I go to a public park that is in Class G airspace a few miles from my home to ride a bike quite frequently. I took my P4 there to an open area one day and was informed by a park ranger that they had a "No drone" policy. Since my yearly park...
It is the stock controller that came with the drone. IIRC, the controller is a single antenna unit in white and I believe that it has some sort of ball connection at the unit for the holder. The drone is in another state so I cannot take a quick look at it to confirm the info,

Stopping a ship of that size or even tightly turning is not an easy thing to do without involving significant amounts of real estate and/or time.

I wished that I had a drone when I lived on the 32rd floor of Admiralty Towers. I could have gotten (regs permitting) wonderful shots of the river, Storey Bridge, etc if I launched from the top of the building. I did launch a couple of paper airplanes from the top and one made it halfway...
My Spanish is not the best, but I wonder how long this feature would be functional if a drone was lost during a low battery return to home scenario?

As a fixed wing pilot I disagree with that statement. In an emergency it could be very useful to know where an abandoned air strip is. That likely is a better landing spot than a mountain top, trees, or even a rough field.
