I emailed PolarPro about the issue, they said the magnets will only cause issues if the AC is powered on. I am happy with that as they're otherwise good cases and will just be careful to keep my bag away from the unit while powered on.

I received mine yesterday, quality seems quite good. My only concern is with the magnets in the case after watching @Ikopta's youtube video on them. Not sure if there's a risk of the magnets magnetising the screws in the device while they're in storage and causing permanent damage or whether...
