Thanks msinger. I did see another thread mentioning to do it if travel from home location is more than 250 miles, so that was my main reason for asking. I did think not the IMU, etc.

Hi All...a bit of a Newbie so excuse my ignorance... What and where is 'Home Point Me'. I never have heard of it before. Is this different than 'Return to Home'. Whenever I take off the Mavic records my home point and I confirm it on the map. I'd like to learn from this. A comment above notes...

Thanks All! I really do think it is the lightning connector as being a Newb it is tricky to get it in the remote holder and not knock off the cable. And yes, I do remove my case. But next flight for the heck of it I will follow Rob's steps as well. Cheers! Doug
