Just picked the case up tonight. Yea the latches are a tiny bit stiff, but fully manageable.. Don't think they will be a problem to work with.

Just bought the Harbor Freight Apache 1800 hard case to put my Smart Controller in. I also have the GPC lanyard bracket mounted to the SC so it is a tiny bit taller. As you can see by the pics below the SC fits in it really well! It Is deep enough that I don't have to remove the control sticks...
