The firmware versions

Wondering what would happen if the updates ever get so big that they take longer than 27 Minutes which is the life of the battery. Hopefully they factor that in and you can quit to swap batteries and it will carry on from where it left off.

Is there a link anywhere where we can see when new firmware comes out. It would be useful to check rather than finding you need to update just as you have got to a location where you want to fly :)

Yes trace would be best. Course lock will focus on the subject but you can move the mavic and the camera will keep pointing at the subject. I think it might only be in a straight line though Edit sorry course lock means it will move in the direction you move the stick no mater which way it is...

Spotlight will stay in one position but track the subject with the camera. Trace will move with the subject while keeping them in view

You should be OK. If you want maps you can download the area you will be flying over wifi before you go out

Report it to DJI. The more that report it the more chance of them accepting there is a problem

Get a normal USB to Lightning cable and plug it into the USB port in the bottom of the controller. Quite a few people get the same problem but I have never had a problem with the bottom USB port. I have reported it to DJI but they aren't doing much about it

The batteries also require firmware updates. Put each battery in and it will say inconsistent firmware and give you an option to update Sent from my iPhone using MavicPilots

If its like I experienced though that might only be a temporary fix
