I'd have concerns with the Gimbal stability with another lens being housed in the assembly. The lens assembly is big and there are concerns now around gimbal stability with angled horizon and 'shaking' if you're not flying slowly. I had my Mavic 3 replaced a few weeks ago due to a faulty Roll...

If you're looking at spending the coin on a laptop, give yourself 'some' future proofing by getting one with slots where you can swap out the RAM or add more, and/ or an M2 SSD slot if the budget can stretch. As Mark_F has said...get the best you can afford.

As much as a pain the layout in the app can be at times...opensky is accurate so you're best to use that (or another CASA approved app) to be safe.

I posted a request for this on the DJI forums a couple of times asking for a firmware update if it was possible or to at least consider it. There's been at least one FW update since then...hopefully one day. Until then I'll just 'dammit' every time.

I don't have an issue with it taking so long....they need to get it right. If they don't and screw it up it'll just encourage people to ignore and do their own thing. COVID is going to slow all the processes down for quite some time.
