I don't, and as far as I know you should not re-do the compass calibration often, only if you're in an environment which is in the pure nature, no buildings, no devices, no remote, not even the belt you're wearing. Then you can be sure the compass is correctly calibrated.

As far as I remember, I didn't have the latest firmware. I don't think that it was because of a new firmware.

Woah.. Yeah, it was only when I ascend and fly back. Not when I flew forwards, downwards etc. Only the combination of going back and ascending quickly.

Well, I understand. Still, it was strange. Everything else worked perfectly the whole time. Only the signal got weak when I flew too far away. Thanks for your comments

I don't know. How is interference connected to the camera gimbal? I think traffic/communications can interfere with the RC signal and the GPS maybe, but not the camera. Plus, it was only when going back & up at the same time. And the area where I flew over was really quiet, i.e. no big buildings...

I didn't do it yet, but I plan to let my friends fly. First in beginner mode and in an open environment etc. But as I have the DJI care refresh I am confident that even if they would crash it completely I could get a new aircraft for $100.

When it has been a while, I just power on the drone and check whether an update needs to be available, then I go out after that. The sun is so slow anyway, just take extra time.

Uah, looks so ugly in my opinion. I love my Fly More Combo bag (Mavic Shoulder Bag) instead. Maybe you can't fit that much in there (but 4 batteries work, one in the drone, two outside in each net, and one above the controller – fits perfectly) but I need something to drink and a powerbank for...

10/10 will buy. :D Most time I spend hovering with my Mavic when someone asks questions. Most times it's funny entertaining to tell people, but when you spend your time by answering questions all day then it gets annoying. Although I'd need a metric version (km/h & meters) instead..
