This Issue is VERY IMPORTANT to All UAS Pilot in the U.S.A.
Even though I like flying my drone, have my 107, and a drone business; I really hope they keep drones out of the state parks. Last thing I want to hear and see when vacationing in a State Park are a bunch of drones buzzing around.- tccraiger

Dji Mavic Platinum Hovers after attempting to catch land, Controls don't work
I hand catch mine all the time.. you have to turn off landing protection and then it basically just lands on your hand... easy peasy.- tccraiger

Does anyone actually fly shielded?
The only time I’ve use the gimbal cover was when flying in thre rain to keep water off the camera; did a great job.- tccraiger

You all know that dji just got in a bunch of trouble for sending info back from our dji military drones to china right? It was all over the news just a few months ago. Privacy doesnt mean anything to them. -

Maiden flight - checklist and flight plan :-)
theres really nothing you can do wrong with these things; be sure you get GPS and a RTH, be in a open area and have fun.
