4G dongle Mavic 4 in EU

friends, i was under the impression that the cellular dongle 4G would also work "normally" on the Mavic 4 pro in europe. the Mavic 3 and air3s work perfectly with the 4g dongle in the drone. with the Mavic 4 i can't do that yet... anyone who knows if it will be available? Now its just saying that it is not possible in my region.

And with the cellular dongle 2?

There is a new dongle for the Mavic 4 Pro called Dji Dongle 3 which only works on the Mavic 4. It is currently been given with bundles at no extra charge in China BUT only in China. Again, the rest of us are being left behind.

Humm... The DJI customer service said, the Dongle 2 works with the 4 pro. Also if we check the specs/compatib. From the Dongle 2 the Mavic 4 pro is on the list.

If you are using the RC2 then in theory the Dongle 2 should work because the RC2 uses Dji O4 but the RC Pro 2 uses Dji O4+ which will make the dongle 2 not work. Dji must have closed the servers to everyone for Mavic 4 Pro Dongle use other than China or maybe there is a trick to get it to work. I am waiting for my care refresh to be active before activating my drone then i will do some tests with the 4 Pro and Dongle 2.

Thats strange because air 3s work with rc pro 2 also. And air 3s works also with the dongle 2.
I still think the dongle 2 can be work for sure because of backwards compatibility between rc pro and models like air3s

Not sure currently. What I mentioned is what I was told by the supplier. Do you have the RC Pro 2?

I am sure Dji closed the servers for the Mavic 4 Pro to work outside of China for the 4G Dongle.

Have you tried putting the dongle into the RC Pro 2 itself and see if it gets network connection

No only in the drone itself. And the 4G toggle could not be to ON

Yes in rc2 pro 4G works i see in task bar upside... but wifi also work so no difference. In drone, no work.

It has 2 antennas. I think 1 for 4G, 1 for 5G? Middle 2 is for 4G dongle.

And this is the error after fitting it in the drone. Text is in Dutch.

Also does not work for me with error : Not enabled for my region" So this tells me that Dji has turned off the servers for Mavic 4 Pro outside of China.

Has anyone tried the Dongle in the UK ? The Dongle 2 is still being listed on the accessories page for the Mavic 4 , I only ordered the mav 4 as I thought it work with the Dongle 2 , I need to think quick if I need to cancel the order before delivery .

Only main land china can use 4G . No other countrys now

Thanks for the reply , that is a big let down , I already use the dongles in my Air 3S and mini 4 Pro each one has its own Dongle 2 , I have gotten used to using them for the security of never having any signal issues, sometimes I wonder about DJI's reasoning :-(

Dji doesnt have acceptant from EU to use 4g. They think it will be accepted soon.
