I like how it fits over the MA2 spring mount and tensions the tablet at an angle. Standard factory cable length should reach fine.

These designs make the RC front heavy, unbalanced, falling away from you, requiring forearm strength to tip them back towards you, and placing severe stress on the fragile aluminum tubes that were never designed for this kid of torque. I have one very similar for the full size iPad, and rejected it, after trying it. It also has no way to adjust the tablet angle to avoid glare. Good for occasional use in a pinch, but not practical IMHO for everyday use. Price is right.
