On a very recent road trip to visit my daughter, I came across a tiny desert in a spectacular and completely unlikely part of the world!

When I think about Canda the first things that spring to mind are:-
1 Its vast size
2 Snow covered forests
3 RCMP
4 Moose/Elk

No way would a desert enter my thoughts. Thank you for giving me a new insight into your great country!

Thank you Yogi035. Canada certainly has more diverse sights than what you would typically find in a travel brochure.

The first time that I visited your part of the world (the UK) as an adult, I was expecting huge cities and industrial wastelands based upon what my British expat parents had told me. I was very pleasantly surprised by the large swaths of countryside, the pristine villages and the rugged coastline in places like Cornwall.
