Just wanted to check in from good old West Texas. If there any other flyers out there that live in the Big Country I would love to swap locations on good places to fly out here.

Below Pic is off the massive brush fire we had a few weeks back. I took off from Clyde and aimed the Mini 2 towards Abilene/Tye and got some decent shots. Outside of wildfires , its been a hunt for good locations to fly/film at.

Howdy from the Houston area. You have a fair amount of open spaces out there. Be careful when flying near windfarms as they are turning much faster than they look. can you fly over the Stasny ranch? I have a friend that lives out that way in buffalo gap. Be safe

I live and fly in Longview...East Texas. I have only been to West Texas once. In one day we drove from here all the way to Midland. Besides big windmills, we did see a lot of mesas and buttes. They looked very dramatic. Are there any near you that you could fly around? Seems like that would make for great video. Best of luck.
