The Quesera mountain pass, or simply La Quesera, is a mountainous pass located in the east of the Spanish Central System, specifically in the Ayllón mountain range, between the Calamorro de San Benito and the Peña de la Silla. It has an altitude of 1757 meters above sea level.
It runs between Riaza (Segovia) and Majaelrayo (Guadalajara). In its summit is the border limit of both provinces and the autonomous communities of Castilla y León and Castilla-La Mancha.
In the surroundings of the mountain pass of La Quesera are the beech forests of La Pedrosa (Segovia) and La Tejera Negra (Guadalajara). These beech woods are together with the Madrid-based Montejo, one of the southernmost in Europe and are protected as a nature reserve and natural park, respectively. In addition to the beech forests, the roads that ascend to the port run through extensive pine forests.
