Hi, I have a Mavic Air 2 and am interested in upgrading to the Air 2S. One selling point is that the 2S climbs and descends twice as fast as the 2.

Can someone do me a huge favor and provide real-world numbers for max climb speed and max descent speed?

Here are the numbers for the Mavic Air 2:

Max Climb (Stationary):
8.7 MPH

Max Descent (Stationary):
- 6.7 MPH

Max Descent (Forward Flight):
- 11.1 MPH

Thanks in advance!

That's interesting.
Don't know if you ever look at voltage/cell graphs for flights, but IRRC the biggest instances of "voltage sage" are on (straight) ascent/descent...which makes me wonder about increased stress on the battery pack.

DJI feels comfortable the batteries can handle it without undue risk of failure.
