Hello, I am new here, and new to owning a drone. Its my first drone as well.

Can I get out there and fly?

LAT: 37.78580
LONG: -122.31040

Thanks!

Yes, Alameda Point has some great spots to fly. The estuary-facing parking spots are okay, as is the grassy area next to the old jet. But I really like flying here at this spot for the great view of the USS Hornet: 37°34'05.6"N 121°58'47.4"W

You’ll need LAANC approval to fly, with 200 foot allowable altitude. Homeland Security helicopter does an hourly flyover, so keep out of their way for sure.

That link brought me back to that abandoned gypsum factory.
