No, not possible. They are two different technologies.
The P4 uses light bridge. MP uses Ocusync.

Would need to have both drone's firmwares on a editor and check the configs. The corebinaries are the same beyond devices and firmwares eg dji_sys, dji_network, dji_verify. But the handshakes could differ a bunch.

Also I don't think even after getting configs right doesn't necessarily make it just "work"

One easy way to check beaconing is to verify both birds advertising at the same frequency.

New P4 V-2 uses Ocusync.....
Yes, however as @Diica mentioned, The FW variance is the question. I Don't know of any P4P V2.0 owners that have tried just yet.
If someone who has one would like to chime in, by all means do so!
