Just got hands on a new Mavic pro, and I have to really put force down on the battery for the sides to click.
Never had problem with last mavic.
Maybe is the New connectors, but even when it looks flush, it is sometimes not locked in.
Like only your hairdresser knows the difference flush

My question is, Should i be worried? Or is it just as secure as any other battery "once clicked in"?

Fuselage loss and subsequent loss of power would make for a bad days flying

Is there a battery strap or something available as insurance?
Id prefer not to wrap some gaffa around it pre flight

If you're concerned, some gaffer tape, Gorilla tape, Velcro strap.. whatever - can be used. Just make sure you don't block the sensors if you rely on them.

I personally use Gorilla tape for short term mods. It is super strong and comes off easily with no gunk left behind. Just don't leave it on forever. :)

Thanks for the video Thunderdrones. exactly my experience.
Caught me off guard as my last one sat in so well, Not even a loud click, but you knew it was on.
Im ordering a single battery, so it will be interesting to see if it's more of a battery
anomaly than the fuselage.

My connectors being new are quite tight, so its just the back that lifts up, same the video.
Some gaffa tape, as you guys say would keep it there should this happen
cheers
