Anyone tried to removing the silkscreen print from Mavic arms

Looking back at the pre-production Mavics I quite like the look of the plain arms - without the gold stripes and Mavic Pro logo.
Anyone had a go yet at removing them?

Maybe warming up with hair dryer first, then peel off? I'd be careful trying any kind of solvent.
