Anyone tried using the mini for dronebase?

Like the title says.


I've got a regular mavic that i use normally. It's been acting up. I had a DB job open up and my replacement parts are still not here.

The mini isn't on their approved equipment list, but am wondering if i could get by with it if the Mavic goes down.

I may just wait and see if my parts get here before then.

I was using a MA for DB jobs and haven't had a complaint yet. Most of the DB jobs are stills and I assume the mini's camera would be totally fine. I suppose it depends on the nature of the specific job.

I just registered as a pilot, the mini is the only one I have and it is listed on the drop down window of drones when registering.

On their FAQ page it says the MM is NOT acceptable. So, I stand corrected. I was misled by the registration process.
