Are the short RC to Device cables compatible, between Mavic Pro and Mavic 2 Pro?

They seem to fit both remotes, however, the other day I had a remote not working with the Iphone cable, now I am not sure if its a faulty cable or if I got the cables mixed up and used the Mavic 2 cable on the Mavic Pro and they are not compatible.

Since I don't have an Iphone (was using a friends), I cannot test to see if its a faulty cable.

Yes, those cables are compatible. You can use any Micro USB cable.

There have been quite a few posts on this forum regarding the monitoring device losing connection with the RC. And in a lot of instances (not all) it was due to a poor cable. I have experience bad cables in the past. I had brand new ones go bad in a week! Then I caught on to the "Anker" brand of cable available on Amazon. If you ever suspect a cable issue, my recommendation is to get an Anker. Has never failed after months of use.

The short ones for the side port are notoriously flakey due to limited shielding, far better to get a short full size one for the bottom port, perhaps with 90 degree bend to suit your device.
It's a little less neat in the hand but trying to line up to the phone port when you can barely see it is a great way to damage it.

I just tried it with the same Iphone and its confirmed a bad cable, even though it was barely used. I used the other cable I had from other drone and it worked fine.

I had some issues with my iPad and RC last year and after a number of times having the App disconnected I followed advice to use an genuine Apple cable and I'm pretty sure that fixed the problem.
