B4UFLY Notification Feature

I have a question that's simply curiosity, but do any of you recreational pilots use the Notify and Fly feature in B4UFLY? Maybe I'm just being overly safety aware, but i use it before all my flights in a location. It's my understanding that it's not used for anything other than in the app, so if another operator was close by, they could open the app and see the airspace where I'm flying.... is that accurate? Also, if you do use it, is there a way to extend the radius and time of the flight? I can't seem to figure that out. Any input is appreciated.

I simply run/check the app before flying for that "all clear" message. That's it.

I'm usually in controlled airspace under LAANC, so the Notify and Fly feature doesn't work (which is a bit odd, because I would still like to know if there are other drone pilots nearby). But when I don't need LAANC I do use Notify and Fly. Never had it tell me anyone is nearby though.
