Batteries, swelling- Should we keep them outside the charger?

I have started using my Mini 2 recently. I have read in another forum that you have to keep your batteries out of the hub(battery charger), when you are not using it, otherwise they will swell and won't work. Is that right? Or can I safely keep my batteries in the hub between flights? I fly perhaps once a week or two weeks. What is the best way to store the batteries between the flights?

you got out of the wrong side of the bed? Anyway, most of us know, not to store batteries in a hub or the drone itself. also common knowledge is to keep the batteries at around 60% when not in use for a few days. Close enough. I woke up on the wrong side of my bed. The girl i met took off in the middle of the night, leaving me blue...

I store my batteries outside the drone, and in safe bags, in case of fire.
