Battery lights staying on

The green lights on my battery are staying on, even when disconnected from charger or drone (see pic).

Any idea what might cause this?

Update: lights seem okay now after I put the battery on the charger for a couple minutes.

You mave have accidentally turned the battery ON while handling it.

It doesn't need to be in the drone to activate.
