Saw someone posted a video of their car driving over a bridge between NJ and PA. Once they reached the other side and were packing up their gear they were told they couldn't fly there by a security guard due to the bridge being under TSA laws. Any truth to this? I imagine it's not worth arguing over but the bridge wasn't in any controlled airspace. Just another security guard making up the rules as they go along? It wasn't even a large bridge: Riegelsville

Would need to know what bridge but it could be the explanation was wrong even though the “you can’t do that” was right. NJ is notorious for having laws

You need a 107 and a waiver to operate a UAV from a moving vehicle, at the same time

This drone took off before they reached the bridge and landed after they passed it so TSA wouldn’t have any authority over this situation it would be the FAA which does not have any restrictions in this specific area, however, you aren’t suppose to operate a drone from a moving vehicle unless in a sparsely populated area which this location may qualify as.

The security guard (TSA agent?) was probably confused because they might have a drone rule against taking off and landing on the bridge which would be ok but the FAA has the sole authority to regulate flight between take off and landing.
