Can’t connect new controller with mavic pro

Mavic pro

I can’t seem to connect a new (2nd hand) controller to my mavic pro

I have followed steps and it ‘links’ but

Lights constantly flashing and no connection is established

Also error message saying weak connection or interference

Can’t work it out

Any ideas ?

What color are the flashing lights? What were the steps you followed?
Any “2nd hand“ controller could have a problem. Any information on condition from the previous owner?

yellow , i'm syncing controller via app which says it pairs

but doesn't prompt anything

yes Im begining to think its simply a dodgy controller

If it’s flashing yellow at the rear lights, it’s not linked.

Ok well I go through the procedure, green button turns red , it the says it links



but clearly it’s not as lights keep flashing and no connection on controller / app
