Canada looking at very restrictive drone regulation

Not good.Here in the uk there is new registration/test around the corner.I think this hobby is ******.
Looks that way.. I'll keep my mavic in good condition in case I have to sell it. Our city already adopted a drone ordinance. It's basically the same as the FAA here in the states, but I'm sure they will be amending it, making it harder and harder to find a place to fly.. Oh well, time to start looking for a new hobby I guess.
It's folks like this that will be the downfall of this hobby... This guy posts this on a Mavic Facebook page

He's just bought it, flown 20 minutes, and he's ready for sport mode BUT, he hasn't even opened the manual to figure out how to turn it on!! Idiot!!!
