The structures on the top of the mount chaberton are fire guns. The fortress was built in 1891-1914 and was a huge and strategic killing machine for the time. Was the proud of Italian army. Was destroyed by the France at the beginning of the ww2. Now it belongs to the France ?. The view at his top is astonishing. Quite hard to go on the top (for me at least!)
