charging problem

hi guys
I just bought the ultra through DJ,I and I bought a phantom 4 car charger from a DJI authorised dealer on flee bay, when I put the batteries in the charging slots the amber led light up and stay on, batteries have been on charge now for about 2 hours and nothing feels warm ie charger and batteries, and when I take them out of charger and press the button only one bar lights light up, its like nothing is charging what can I check

Is the engine running?

The Mavic car charger doesn't work without the engine on, it's a reasonable guess the Phantom charger would be the same mate.

Ping is correct .... the car would need to be running.


This is my setup at home

And I then plug the charger into the power point I have in the boot when I am driving. But the engine is always running when I use it.

yes thats what I have as well, the status indicator on the car charger is green, and the status indicator on the charging hub is flashing green until I put a battery in then it flashes green two times then red 4 times and then goes solid amber
