Connecting Replacement Drone

About a month ago I lost my drone in the water and believe it or not it was covered under the DGI refresh warranty. I am trying to connect the new drone to my existing account and controller but it will not connect. Does anybody know how to connect a replacement drone?

New aircraft will need to be linked to your controller. The DJI app should walk you through the activation steps.
 
It’s not walking me through. I think I need to register something online with the serial number. I tried putting in the serial number but it did not work?
 
I’ve never entered a serial number to activate an aircraft from DJI.
They will ask you to log into your account.
 
Where did this replacement ac come from?
And what ac are you working with?
