Hey guys, currently using dronedeploy for some mapping with the Mavic 2 Pro and I'm having a constant issue where the drone is constantly disconnecting from the controller and app for a split second or even up to 30+ seconds at a time. It always seems to happen regardless if the drone is close or far from me. It's almost like there's interference. But I have two drones running at the same time in the same location, to stay in accordance with the law I have another pilot run the other drone, and it's not having this issue at all.

Luckily with dronedeploy the drone continues to map and RTH while disconnected, but it's a stressful annoyance.

Even running the drone on DJIGo4 the app tells me there's strong interference and sometimes disconnects, but not as often as it is with DD.
I'm flying in an area clear of power lines and radio towers as well.

Does this behavior occur in all locations where you fly. Just FYI, in my main practice area over flat, treeless open fields I get full signal strength above 125’ altitude out to the limit of VLOS... about 2 miles at dusk. So I feel you should be getting better performance.
Have you contacted DJI?

I have not contacted DJI.

I'm flying at 400ft over 200 acres of open tomato fields. no obstructions. The drone is not even close to a mile away from me

Contact DJI. One of your devices has a problem, unless you are flying close to a large emitter... hi voltage power line or something similar. You should be able to get much farther out

Contacting DJI was no help, they refused tohelp me because I use an iPhoneXr and it’s not a supported device
