Controller help/information

My controller charge was down to three (3) lights.
upon flying, I noticed that I would loose signal of the drone at a shorter distance then my usual flying distance.
Question is: "Does the controller have an effect on the distance that the drone flies if not fully charged?"

No, these things are digitally monitored and controlled, it will either work 100% or not at all until sufficiently discharged to shut down.
