Controller question

Hi all,
i don't have Mavic yet (had a mail from dji today in which they said they are doing everything they can to ship the Mavic to all customers as fast as possible... bothers me... )
However... i do have some questions about the controller.

-When you plug your phone to the controller, does it charge the battery phone when you are flying?

-What happen when you are flying, and your phone is receiving a phone call? Can you answer and still fly?

I always put my mobile device (iPhone/iPad) into airplane mode when flying - that way, no distractions.

The controller outputs 433ma to my Note 4 when turned on. Running the GO app uses just under 1A, so your phone will discharge, but only half as quickly.
