my wild guess is because it comes from dji fly app support and it is a reply to a comment requesting active track and manual control....why would you think it doesn't???

This sounds like if manaul transmission control is added to a car, the color of the car body can be adjusted to the owner's taste.

I didn’t mention white balance, I said manual control. Did you read the last sentence from DJI?

That is already there in the camera settings, at least in the Bigger Magic’s and Phantoms. Has been there since the p3s at least.

An additional thought, post processing the video for tonal, color, and sharpness is much more flexible and powerful than doing it in camera.

Exactly, that's why I have my fingers crossed the aforementioned frame rates will trickle down to the MM
